Dr. Jones unique certification in both neurology and pain management allows him the advantage to provide comprehensive patient care by diagnosing, treating, and managing your neurologic and chronic pain conditions.
Dr. Roland Jones
Dr. Jones is a board certified Pain Management and Neurology specialist. He is the founder of Tallahassee Neurology Specialists.
He enlisted in the US Army Field Artillery before graduating from Georgia Military College as Valedictorian. After earning his commission in the Army he served in the Military Police before medical school.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Dr. Jones completed his residency at Wilford Hall in San Antonio, TX and later served as the Chief of Neurology at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He completed his Interventional Pain Fellowship at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Jones is board certified in Pain Management and Neurology. He is an Adjunct Professor for the Florida State University College of Medicine and Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Jones is a member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine as well as the American Academy of Neurology.
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys playing the guitar.
Dr. Eugene Wang Starting July 2018
Dr. Wang is board certified in neurology, pain medicine and neuroimaging. He earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine after receiving honors from the Johns Hopkins University’s five-year neuroscience program. Dr. Wang trained in Neurology residency at the prestigious University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago, and subsequently underwent fellowship training in pain management at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia and in neuroimaging at the Dent Neurologic Institute in Buffalo, NY. Receiving many accolades throughout his career, he has had multiple research publications in major peer-reviewed pain journals.
He joins Tallahassee Neurology Specialists from Coastal Spine & Pain Center in Jacksonville Florida where he served as an Interventional pain physician and neuroimager, and more recently served as Principal Investigator for several high profile clinicalresearch studies at Coastal Clinical Research Specialists. Dr. Wang is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Interventional Headache Society, American Academy of Neurology, American Society of Neuroimaging, and the Spine Intervention Society. Dr. Wang is married to his wife Sing Your, who is an accomplished Ophthalmologist, and they have 3 beautiful children. Aside from being a busy father of 3 energetic children, Dr. Wang also enjoys classical music, racquetball, tennis, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
Abby Thorn - A.R.N.P
Abby Thorn first received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Central Florida but went back to school to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from Florida International University in 1993 and began working in the medical field as a nurse for the United States Navy. She received her Masters in Science and certification as a Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse Midwife from University of California San Diego and San Diego State University in 2001. After practicing Women's Health for many years, performing deliveries and infertility services, she transitioned to Pain Management. Abby trained and worked under Dr. George Arcos until she joined Dr. Jones in June of 2013. Abby is dedicated to giving her patients the best quality of care and the compassion that patients suffering from chronic pain need. She has been married for over twenty years and has three children. In her free time, Abby is an active member of Spanish Krewe in Springtime Tallahassee.
Lindsay Rigsby P.A. - C
Lindsay received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University. She then graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale campus as a certified Physician Assistant with a Masters of Medical Science degree. With previous experience as a physician assistant in Cardiology/Internal Medicine and Orthopedic surgery. Lindsay believes exercise and proper nutrition are essential to achieving a happy and healthy lifestyle. Her goal is to incorporate these lifestyle changes into the treatment plans of the patients here at TNS. When not practicing medicine, Lindsay can be found running the roads of Tallahassee as an avid long distance runner.
Lisa Moore, DNP, ARNP
Lisa Moore graduated from Florida State University in 1997 with a BSN in Nursing. She went on to earn a Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University. She has broad experience in nursing, including Primary care, Intensive care, and Emergency Room medicine. After practicing Primary care for many years and even owning her own successful practice, she has transitioned Neurology and Pain Management. She hopes to use her experience in treating depression and weight loss to help those suffering with chronic pain. She is married and has two children. Her special interests outside of work are FSU football (of course), fishing and playing tennis.
Dale Rossi French, D.C.
Dr. Dale French was born and raised in northern Virginia. Dr. French went on to attend the University of Virginia and then Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida, where she earned several prestigious awards including the Presidential Scholar Award. While on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Tallahassee, Dr. French met and fell in love with her now-husband Chad. Dr. French practiced in Perry, FL for several years before being invited to join Tallahassee Neurology Specialists. She is extremely excited about the opportunity to work with this team of professionals dedicated to provide you with pain relief which will lead to improved health and a better quality of life.
Kayla graduated in 2009 from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelors of Science in physics with concentration in medical physics. She then attended Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where she received a Master of Science in Medical Laboratory Science. While working in the lab, Kayla realized that she wanted to make a more direct impact on patient's lives and began volunteering as an EMT for an emergency ambulance service outside of Philadelphia. She went on to graduate with high honors from her Physician Assistant program and received a Master of Medical Science degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Myers, Florida. Kayla discovered her passion for neurology while spending several months with our practice during her clinical training, and is excitd to care for our patients with neurological conditions. In her free time, she can be found enjoying Tallahassee's many parks and trails with her fiance and playing board games with friends.
Brett Allen- CEO
Brett received his undergraduate degree in business management and has spent the last 20+ years in the Financial Services Industry, with many of those years focused on the medical field. Brett loves spending time with his wife and two children. In his free time Brett enjoys golf, fishing, FSU football and taking trips to the Georgia Mountains. Brett and his family relocated to Tallahassee five years ago and they fell in love with the city.
Velda S., CPPM- Business Office Manager
Velda was born and raised in Georgia and currently resides in Cairo. She has worked in the medical field for over 30 years in billing as well as office management. Married for 30 years, Velda has two beautiful daughters, as well as two beautiful grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, and being with family and friends as well as the family dog, Georgia.
Julie H., CPC - Assistant Manager
Julie is a native of Tallahassee. She has been married for 30 years, and has four wonderful children. She enjoys working in billing/insurance because she is able to use all resources available to ensure patients are receiving the maximum from there benefit coverage. When not at work she loves spending time with her family, running and watching football.
Amanda L. – Clerical Support
Amanda moved to Tallahassee when she was in 5th grade. She joined the TNS team in August 2014. She has one daughter who is the light of her life. She loves spending time on the boat, fishing, and FSU football!
Linda C. – Medical Assistant
Linda was born in Defuniak Springs, Florida and has been working in pain management for over six years. She has three daughters, six grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Linda has been married for 34 years. Both she and her husband serve as pastors. Specifically, Linda leads both the women’s ministry and the children’s ministry. In her free time, Linda loves to garden and design flower arrangements.
Sierra H. – O.R. Staff
Sierra was born and raised in Georgia. She has three wonderful children. Sierra is a graduate from Keiser University where she received her Associate of Science Degree. She has been a Medical Assistant for eight years. She has been cross-trained working from the desk to taking care of clinical duties as Medical Assistant. Sierra helps with prepping the patients before their procedures. In addition, Sierra assists with triaging. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Missy N. - Clerical Support
Missy joined TNS in March of 2015 and lives in Bristol FL. She has been working in the medical field for the last 7 years. She is married and has two adorable little boys and a beautiful “bonus” daughter. She enjoys fishing with her husband, spending time with her family and loves Florida State Football!
Shatara C.– Medical Assistant
Shatara was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She have been a Medical Assistant since 2004. Shatara enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters and watching College Football.
Stephanie S-Medical Assistant
Stephanie is from Boston, GA. She graduated from Keiser University with an AS degree in Medical Assisting in 2010. She enjoys helping anyone that is in need. She loves singing, music, shopping and the beach.
Morgan T.- Medical Assistant
Morgan has been working at TNS on her breaks from college for the past four years and joined the staff full-time in December. She recently graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and hopes to attend medical school in the near future. When not at work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
April B.- Medical Assistant
April is from Whigham, GA. She graduated from Keiser University in 2006. She enjoys reading, going on vacation, football, shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
AJ T.- Medical Assistant
A.J. is originally from Montville, N.J. and moved to Tallahassee in 2001. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Exercise Science. He plans on attending medical school and becoming a critical care physician. He enjoys spending his free time at the beach, out at the shooting range and in the gym.
Traci P.- Clerical Support
Traci became a part of the TNS family in August of 2017. She is originally from Tallahassee and now lives in Hosford, FL with her husband where they have a family logging business. She has 5 children ranging from 16 to 8. She spends all her free time keeping them happy!
